Monarchs beat Firebrands, 19-14
11.10.08 - Stanton Pilialoha threw for two touchdowns and Josh Asuncion scampered for 140 yards rushing on 13 carries to lead the Monarchs over Word of Life, 19-14 at Aloha Stadium. Damien closes the season with two straight wins and a 7-5 record. [ More ]
Band to perform at Rainbow Invitational
11.6.08 - The Rainbow Invitational Marching Band Festival will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Aloha Stadium. The Monarch Marching Band is scheduled to perform at 5:30 PM. The festival will run from 5:00 through 10:00 PM with the University of Hawaii Marching Band presenting their show at 9:30 PM.
Special schedule for Nov. 5-6
10.28.08 - Damien faculty will be involved in two days of special staff development work as part of the School's accreditation process. To allow for this training time, a special schedule will be run on November 5 & 6, 2008, with dismissal at 12:30 each day. [ More ]

'08 Bailey scores twice against La. Tech
10.21.08 - Idaho RB and 2008 graduate Kama Bailey scored 2 touchdowns on pass receptions of 33 and 27 yards in a 46-14 loss to Louisiana Tech. The two scores were the first of Kama's collegiate career.

Canonization for Blessed Damien confirmed
8.6.08 - The Vatican reported that Pope Benedict XVI signed a decree accepting that the miraculous cure of an Aiea woman from terminal cancer was attributable to prayers to Damien for his intervention with God. The pope has yet to set a date for the canonization ceremony, which will take place in Rome. [ More ]
